About the list This ccNSO Members Mailing list is an unmoderated mailing list, open to the ccNSO membership and the ccNSO Secretariat. Via mailing list postings, the Secretariat keeps the ccNSO Membership informed about key developments (e.g., nominations, elections, calls for volunteers, requests for input, etc.) and provides the ccNSO Membership with a platform to discuss issues of relevance. Who can join The mailing list is open to individuals affiliated with a ccTLD manager that is a member of the ccNSO. Observers from Regional ccTLD Organizations may also be included, as designated by their manager or board. In addition, all members of the ccNSO Council, the ccNSO Secretariat, and—during their term of service—ccNSO-appointed members of the ICANN Board of Directors are subscribed using their individual email addresses. Managing subscriptions Subscriptions are managed by the ccNSO Secretariat. Any additions to the list of subscribers from a ccTLD must be authorized by either the ccTLD Representative or the admin-c or tech-c as listed in the IANA delegation record for the ccTLD. |
About the List The ccTLD Community List is an unmoderated mailing list for information exchange and discussion on ccTLD-related issues. The list does not have a formal charter, and is guided by a light-touch policy where disruptive subscribers may be removed. It is not an official communications channel with the ccNSO or ICANN; official matters should follow standard contact routes. Posts must not be reproduced outside the list without the author’s permission, to maintain open discussion. Who can join The mailing list is open to individuals affiliated with a ccTLD manager, regardless of ccNSO membership. It also includes observers from Regional ccTLD Organizations, as designated by their manager or board. Every ccNSO Working Group and Committee has its own mailing list, where members can easily stay connected. Once the Council appoints members, the Secretariat will add them to the list. Through these lists, members receive meeting invitations and can share documents, ideas, and other materials to support the group’s work. If you are interested in joining one of the ccNSO Working Groups or Committees, please consult the list of current groups on the ccNSO website and contact the ccNSO Secretariat for more information. TLD-OPS mailing listAbout the list TLD-OPS is the incident response community created by and for ccTLDs, bringing together those responsible for the operational security and stability of their registries. The TLD-OPS mailing list serves three main purposes: (1) it acts as a trusted contact repository to improve the reachability of ccTLDs during incident response, with subscribers receiving a monthly email containing up-to-date contact details (names, phone numbers, email addresses) of all members; (2) it is used to alert the community to security and stability threats; and (3) it provides a channel for the TLD-OPS Standing Committee to engage with and update the community. Who can join The TLD-OPS mailing list is open to the designated security and stability contacts of your ccTLD, regardless of ccNSO membership. Universal Acceptance: Community listAbout the list The ccNSO Universal Acceptance (UA) Community Mailing and Contact List is used to share and receive information related to Universal Acceptance, including updates from the information repository (library) maintained by the ccNSO Universal Acceptance Committee (UAC), as well as best practices, educational resources, tips, and event announcements. The mailing list also serves as a contact repository. Subscribers receive a quarterly automatically generated email containing the UA Mailing and Contact List, which includes the designated UA contacts for each subscribed ccTLD, along with their phone numbers and email addresses, as permitted under applicable privacy laws. Who can join The UA Community Mailing and Contact List is open to individuals from ccTLDs interested in UA, with up to four contacts per ccTLD. It also includes observers from Regional ccTLD Organizations, ccNSO Council members, the ccNSO Secretariat, and ccNSO-appointed ICANN Board members during their terms. The mailing list also serves as a contact repository. Subscribers receive a quarterly automatically generated email containing the UA Mailing and Contact List, which includes the designated UA contacts for each subscribed ccTLD, along with their phone numbers and email addresses, as permitted under applicable privacy laws. Who can join The DNS Abuse Community Mailing and Contact List is open to individuals from ccTLDs interested in DNS Abuse, with up to four contacts per ccTLD.
