TLD-OPS Standing Committee
TLD-OPS is a trusted, members-only mailing list used by ccTLD operators to share and receive security alerts and queries. The goal of TLD-OPS is to strengthen the ability of ccTLD operators worldwide to detect and mitigate incidents that may affect the security and stability of their services, such as DDoS attacks, malware infections, and phishing. TLD-OPS complements, rather than replaces, existing incident response structures, processes, and tools. The TLD-OPS Standing Committee (TLD-OPS SC) provides oversight of this list and related activities. The TLD-OPS Standing Committee is the oversight body of the TLD-OPS mailing list. |
The TLD-OPS Standing Committee represents the global ccTLD incident response community, with members from all ICANN regions and at least three Security and Stability Contacts. Members are appointed by the ccNSO Council and nominate a Chair, with liaisons from SSAC and ICANN’s IANA/SSR teams, and optionally observers from other stakeholders. Support is provided by ICANN ccNSO Staff, who also serve as the TLD-OPS Validator. |
