Publications Editors
ComSoc is always looking for enthusiastic editors for its prestigious peer-reviewed magazines and journals. Ideal candidates have strong technical credentials, ethical integrity, and a history of reliable reviews. Editors must commit to reviewing at least three manuscripts annually and make timely, fair decisions. Required qualifications include subject expertise, editing experience, and involvement on the technical program committee. Applicants should provide references and sample papers.
Conference Volunteers
Volunteer committees drive the operations and technical content for ComSoc conferences worldwide. Leverage your experience and knowledge in one of our leadership roles.
These positions are appointed by the General Chair and support the conference in various non-program roles. Inquiries for these positions should be sent to the appropriate member(s) of the conference organizing committee.
Technical Committees and Emerging Technologies Initiatives
ComSoc’s Technical Committees shape the Society’s technical direction and meet twice yearly at major conferences. Emerging Technologies Initiatives explore and promote new tech areas of member interest, often co-sponsoring related events and publications. Members are encouraged to join or propose initiatives aligned with their interests.
