Meral Shirazipour, Global Partnering & Ecosystem Director, works on non-terrestrial networks (NTN) partnerships and ecosystem development at Ericsson's Business Area Networks. Previously, she led innovation engagements at Ericsson's Technology Office Silicon Valley, leveraging her extensive R&D experience. Prior to these, in various roles at Ericsson Research, Meral drove innovation in networks, software-defined networking, AI,and XR topics, while focusing on ecosystem collaborations via partnerships or standards forums (representing Ericsson in standards bodies like the ONF, IETF and currently MSSA). Meral holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
